How far is it to the beach from Mar Bella?

Mar Bella is in close proximity to all of the best beaches Delaware has to offer! It's about a 12 minute drive to Rehoboth Beach with its mile-long boardwalk, restaurants and shops. It's 15 minutes to Dewey Beach with many great bars and clubs. And it's about 18 minutes to historic Lewes and Cape Henlopen State Park with gorgeous beaches on the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic ocean.

What activities are close to Mar Bella?

Mar Bella is right in the middle of the action! There are many things to do within just a minute or two from our location, including dining at dozens of great restaurants, music and refreshments at a variety of lounges and bars, and tax-free shopping at over 130 brand-name outlets. If hiking, biking, bowling, ax throwing or mini-golf is your thing, we've got it here for you. There are free concerts at the Rehoboth Beach bandstand almost every night during summer, and fun events every weekend. During December check out the Schelleville Holiday Villiage, with food, drink and fun activities for the whole family. And of course don't forget fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing or just sun bathing at any of the beaches on Delaware Bay, the Atlantic ocean or Rehoboth Bay.

Do you take pets?

No. As much as we love pets we don't accept them at Mar Bella.

Do you accept children at your location?

We only accept children of age 13 or older. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and Mar Bella is not appropriate for guests under the age of 13.

What are the check-in and checkout times?

Our regular check-in time is 4:00 PM. The regular checkout time is 10:00 AM.

What if I want to check in early, or stay a bit longer on departure day?

We have early check-in and late checkout options available for an additional fee. You'll have the opportunity to register for early check-in or late checkout when you make your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Is your pool open?

The pool is open every day from May 1 to September 30. Pool hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Is the pool heated?

No, the pool is not heated, but during the summer months it stays very nice and warm from solar heat.

Are the hot tub and sauna open?

The hot tub and sauna are open year-round. Hours are 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Do you offer discounts for longer stays?

We offer a 15% discount on bookings of 7 days or longer, and 25% for bookings of 28 days or longer. For longer stays, please contact David at support@marbellarb.com.

Do you have parking?

Mar Bella has a large parking lot. On-site parking is free for guests.

Do you serve breakfast?

We don't serve breakfast, but Mar Bella has two coffee bars on premises featuring an assortment of Starbucks coffees and teas. There are many excellent places to eat breakfast within just a couple minute's drive.

Do you have a convenience store?

Forgot to bring something? Don't worry, the Mar Bella online store has most everything you need for a comfortable stay, from travel essentials, to drinks and snacks, to beach gear rentals. Just place an order and a Mar Bella staff person will bring your items to you. You'll receive a link to the online store after making your reservation.

Does Mar Bella have an EV charger?

Yes! We have two Level-2 chargers available for guests to use. The cost is $1.90/hr.
